If Only

Blogsurfing I found this meme. I'm changing it from “Passive-Aggressive Catharsis” to “If Only,” because I don’t have really horrid things to get out about anybody, and because I believe most people could be much happier if they did just one thing differently.

List 10 things you want to say to 10 different people. Do not state who these people are. Do not confirm or deny any speculation.

1. If only you could be forthright about your ignorance.


2. If only you weren’t so positive that people wouldn’t like you.


3. If only you would think about how you feel.


4. If only you felt like being closer friends with me.


5. If only you would be okay with your being gay. (Everybody else is.)


6. If only you didn’t think that being bossy was the only way to get what you want.


7. If only you didn’t think that being religious made up for being a bigot.


8. If only you realized that people needn’t be impressed by you to like you.


9. If only you were honest with yourself.
