There and Back Again.

"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort."

I've had that line in my head. Not verbatim - actually, what's been stuck in my head has been the abridged line from the beginning of the late-70s Rankin & Bass cartoon.

But anyway, I've gone there and come back, and it was what I wanted, and what I needed, and I hope will prove to be a very good thing indeed.

At the moment, I am not settled. Nor would I want to be. But it is nice to be back.
