PowerPoint, how I hate thee.

If you are not lucky enough - why yes, that is sarcasm - to work in an office job you may not believe me when I tell you that I used to work with someone - a very nice person - who told me, quite seriously, that he thought in PowerPoint.

The New York Times has a lovely piece this week on how PowerPoint is ruining our ability to communicate with each other.

Why learn how to put a sentence together properly? Or capitalize? Or punctuate? What is the point, when you can just bullet

- every two words

- to make it seem

- like your inane thoughts

- are actually organized and categorized.

The computer will help format your thoughts. It will not think for you, people. For the love of God, understand the difference.
